VISUAL IDENTITY & ANIMATION

Visual identity and animation for the University of Bristol’s Equity, Diversity and Inclusion team.

We worked with The EDI team at the University of Bristol to create a bold and recognisable visual identity. In order to reflect the ethos of the team, we created a logo that reflects the idea of fluidity and movement, which utilises a modern graphic typeface and a reoccurring shape. The logo and motif was designed to present as versatile, unique and welcoming, communicating the teams function of changing attitudes, the workplace, and culture for a brighter future.

Following on from the new style we set for the team, we were asked to create an animation about being an active bystander, and how to intervene when you notice discriminatory behaviour in the workplace. Due to the nature of the content, the animation we created is heavily typography and illustration based, to keep the viewer engaged despite the use of limited imagery.
