EDUCATION HUB BRAND IDENTITY

Logo and brand identity for the Royal Bath & Wests Education Hub, aimed at informing the next generation about farming and food production.

The Royal Bath & West of England Society is a registered charity which aims to promote agriculture to the public.

This is done through a variety of activities including the Bath and West Show and their Field to Food Learning Day which is aimed at primary school pupils and is all about educating the next generation about farming and food production. The Education Hub is a new project which will be added to their existing website to allow them to share resources with children, teachers and home educators.

We were asked to create a fun and playful logo for the Education Hub which would be shared on several online and printed resources, and to also refresh their existing Field to Food Learning Day logo using a similar style so the two logos could sit alongside each other.

Our concept combines a bespoke, friendly and fun typeface with illustrations that depict the nature of the Education Hub in a modern way that would appeal to both children and adults. The typography style gives materials an organic and natural feel, whilst also adding emphasis to headings and making items more engaging.

The illustrations can be used independently and given more detail to add more character, personality and help in the education of agriculture.
